No doubt the Borg would eventually assimilate everything (except those pesky Gorn), but I'm content to call it a draw for 2nd place and say the Lizzies won.

Seems, Fascist opinion is more important now :smile:

About the end - I think we'd surely end if one of races will get more then 50% of stuff. PTscore, planets, or ships. While it did not happen - we can vote or continue.

Lizard have now 46% of total PTscore, 45% of planets, 40% of ships.

Maybe, we'd play some turns more.

I've been in favour of ending the game since turn 80 when I wasn't in second place, and I'm happy to end any time. It's abundantly clear that the Lizards are winning without competition, it's just us little people competing for lesser placings. I think the placing are all pretty clear except 2nd/3rd place. I can keep crushing the Fascists if it helps clarify things, or we can just end now.

In my opinion the 50% ending condition is a little bit overkill. I mean that 46% of PTscore is, in this game, an unquestionable victory with great merit.

Nevertheless, I agree with you that we should pay attention to the fascist's opinion. If the fascist wants to play some more turns I wouldn't object as long as we don't lengthen the game more than necessary to clarify 2on/3rd place but in any other case I think that 100 turns should be more than enough.

The vote for ending is entirely with Fascist since he's the one who is in close contention for second place, and we haven't heard from him yet.

The game is still fun, so I'm happy to send my cubes whizzing around the galaxy assimilating everything until the Fascist agrees to an end, and I think it's a good idea to have a 3-5 turn warning of when the game will actually end so people can inflate their scores as they see fit.

In my opinion the 50% ending condition is a little bit overkill. I

Yes, that's what I said - 50%+ is the mark we can SURELY end, without add. discussions.

In other cases, we can think and vote.

I would like to play a few more rounds. maybe until turn 105-110, that would be ok for me. congratulations to the lizard, he deservedly won the game.

Seems, Borg and Fascist still almost equal... Maybe, turn 110 for end is better, than 105?..

I believe the ending condition of "about turn 105" is fair. If I can push past the Fascists (again) in the next couple turns, great for me, if not I'm perfectly content for 3rd place.
