Hi Players,

where is the Robot?

He did not play for almost 30 Turns, but Host did not kick him.

On the other Hand Player 10 is "dead" but "open" - nobody will join here.

Should Player "9" be marked as dead, too?

Kicked them.

There is no automatic kick.

Should Player "9" be marked as dead, too?

A player is "dead" if they have zero score. Robots still have a planet, so go hunting!

Ah OK, I thought that if you miss 5 turn in a row you are kicked...

A player is "dead" if they have zero score.

hard to archieve..
in my humble opinion a player shall be marked "dead" earlier - nobody shall join in that position, anyway.

Robot left when I took 2 Trolls from his HW (or was it troll + merlin? it's such a long time now).

Concerning automatically marking someone as dead - if this is wanted: I'ld suggest something like no ships and no SB left, plus either no turns submitted for some time (5 turns?) or the player is leaving the game. I'ld apply them in a way that a player is dead on the spot when he lost the last ship/sb and didn't submit turns for the apropriate time. (so the timer is not starting when loosing the ship/sb but always running)

Well, if a player leaves game without any bases, i will assume he is dead. Until then anybody can still join and build more ships. Often without any hope, anyway  And a player who misses 5 turns in a row has lost his interest.

As long as they have planets, they can build bases. Some scenarios start without bases. So "no bases" is not a universal rule.

As long as they have bases, they can build ships. As long as they have planets, they can trade ships. And if we take into account Remote Control, things get really messy. So, "no ships" is not a universal rule either.

Therefore, I chose "zero score" as the criterion: this means the player is truly dead and the only thing they can do is writing messages.

Regarding "miss X turns in a row", that's a rule I can agree to.

This is a testing version.
It may be incomplete, and have more bugs (or features) than the public live version at planetscentral.com.
