What happened? Did I miss an announcement? At least until recently players informed upfront when a game pause was needed. Seems different now.

However, while we are at it, please continue this mode until August 20th. Thank you.

I was about to post that I'm going on vacation until mid-August myself, so pausing until Aug-20 would work perfectly for me too.
