Rules and Strategy for our beloved game
We played blitz games. codes immediately but at least 1 per day.The duration is 40-50-60 moves. I suggest such a game - without alliances, of course - starting in a month if there are more than 5 players (6+)

As usual, I can set up everything if there are enough players.
The host system right now computes schedules in days, and cannot enforce things like "one host every 30 minutes". I have never played Blitz, but the software I had seen could do something like this (complete with an IRC channel and countdown if host is due in 2 minutes).
TL;DR: to get more than one turn per day, you'd need determined players who don't miss turns.
