Hello, after using the page back button, in firefox, after succesfully uploading a *.trn file, the file is again locked by firefox and can not be changed by the client or maketurn.

Should anybody else has sometimes this kind of problem just try to log out. If this is not enougth just close browser-tab or window or complete browser.

While trying to understand what happen, I also got a problem with log in or log out. Something strange with I am seems to be logged in on game page but logged out in forum and.... This seems to be no securety problem, as I was not able to upload a file after log out.

I do not want to make more tests about this today as it is time to go to bed and it is not a so big problem. May be I understand this better tommorow.

Bye Alexander

I heard this before, but it's a mystery to me how a web application can affect what files are locked by your browser. (And PlanetsCentral definitely doesn't use these newfangled HTML5 use-JavaScript-to-access-user's-files APIs.)

Your login status is in a cookie, and logging out deletes that cookie. Maybe your browser just cached a page a little too long? I try hard to tell it not to do these things. Uploading, posting, however will always generate new requests to the server which validate your cookie.

[Edit: Try logging out in a second browser window while writing a posting. You'll get a login form when you try to send the post. I just tried it :-)]
