[Posting] Sunday turn / Summer vacation

I was asked to skip the Sunday (14/Jul) turn due to a player relocating. So unless anyone has serious objection, next host will be on 18th; I'd reconfigure the host on Saturday morning.

If there is need for a summer vacation host break, now would also be a good time to discuss.

I vote for a summer break. Perhaps from 22.07. until 15.08.? What about the rest?

Best regards

Holger

--> see Re: Sunday turn / Summer vac... for my reply. I'd say continue over there when talking about both games, otherwise continue here:

Does anyone else want a break? Can we reach a compromise of a shorter break?

I have no access to a computer from 17.8 to 31.8. - I would like to have a brake during this period.

I don't like long breaks very much. Several players will request breaks at several times, and the game could come to a standstill for months this way. However, I realize that it is harder to find a replacement player today than it used to be, because the number of active player is very small now. Perhaps playing at a reduced turn frequency is a good compromise?

IMHO, this request should replace all other requests for a summer break. Fifteen days is not too long, and has an extremely adequate justification, even if he is taking a vacation for those days...

Reduced frequency was my (b), more reduced frequency is (a).

So far we've got no VGAP die-hard who insists on the host runs. But I'd still appeal to everyone to submit their turns if they can to not stall the game for everyone.
