you may not believe it, but for some of us the holiday season is about to kick off with schools shutting down for summer break soon. As a heads up, I will be on travel starting 16 JUN until 20 JUL. I kindly ask to pause the game during this period.

I know this is quite a stretch and given the fact that I am far from winning, I am considering to simply resign from the game instead, in case my request upsets people.

We've seen so many breaks in this game that yet another one doesn't make a difference.

However, i'm from southern part of Germany where school holidays start when you are already back to work
Just as a pre-warning that i'm in Canada from Aug 19th - Sep 7th !!!

Having said that makes me hope that next game i registered will not start before as i won't be able to make my turns.

On top there is this new request from Manos for a break in Aug-Sept.

I wonder if we shouldn't just stop the game where is it and declare vlk as winner ???

But I guess DarkAngel and Kobrov still want to continue since they gathered up some nice ressources that they still can throw into battle Oh and I thought last autumn when the game started, that we would be through till mid of july

As I will be on vacation from 20th August until 6th September and we already had so many breaks here, I have a question.
My last chance to submit my turn will be on 19th but the game will continue.
If I resign from the game on that day will there be still a penalty for dropping?
Don’t want to have yet another break just for a few turns (if not less).

Alternately the game could finish before ~80.

Yes. Reliability penalty will be applied but is pro-rated with your relative score.

Alternately the game could finish before ~80.

If enough other players agree, that would be the best solution. That would be: end at fixed turn 79. Gives everyone more time to join other games as well

Unfortunately PCC Web is not usable on iOS but at least I could use it to submit empty turns.

That would save me from penalties 😉
Let’s see if the others agree on early finish. I’ll write a universal message soon.

I would prefer to play the game to the end. I want to see more exploding T-Rexes and Novas.

Manosfighter also asked for a break (starting August 12th). All in all it would be August 12th to September 6th, which is fine by me.

Just to give my five cents, I am in favour of closing the game now.

Now that makes it a hard decision for me...

In general, I would ask vlk to consider: you won Not sure whether it's more of a chore than joy for the others now. So in general, the score looks to me as if closing the game would make sense.

This was my last turn that i submit via my laptop.
On Tue i fly to Canada and will only be able to submit turns via PCC web which doesn't work well on iOS.
Let's see how much movement i will be able to do.

Lets call it an end. Four players want the end, Terraner, DarkAngel, tpftux, mondoshiva. I will now remain neutral in the vote. From a previous post above, I guess the same goes for Manosfighhter. No feedback from JT Plagerism and Kobrov.

Thanks to all for playing to the end! Not a single player abandoned the game, which is amazing (except for the Fascist player, who handled his retirement fairly by giving his remaining ships and HW to an ally).

Thanks mondoshiva. I also think the Falcon in particular is a superb ship for the Lizard if he wants to maintain a large empire. And it is cheap to clone. My last attack on the Fed HW with the help of Rebel and Cyborg was quickly stopped before it even started. All those webmines...

So I set the game to "end turn 80". This means: everyone gets time to do their final turn, lunge for their final blow (and the time already spent for turns is not wasted), but you need not reserve time for further turns. Host will run the final turn when everyone's there, latest on Sep 8.

Yeah thank you very much for this interestng game. Altough my expensions plans were stopped early this game by my *friendly* neighbor the crystal. All in all an interesting game
