for many moves, dear Dahoudaboudadoudawou has been making a preliminary turn and holding it until the planned launch of the host - despite the fact that ALL players have made a turn! does it have some kind of sacred meaning?

Dear regular opponent and to all it may concern,

although I do not feel forced to justify myself, I am pleased to share my most secret motives with you:

I usually do a first round handling every ship, planet and base I own plus estimating all possible actions my opponents might do. I submit this as a preliminary turn in order not to miss host by mistake and rather provide a semi-sophisticated turn than none at all. At this point I usually send my requests and ToDos to my allies in order to give them time for responding and discussion.

No less than 24 hours later I do a second look at my situation which is often helpful to see things from a different point of view. Now also my allies most of the time have responded with their ToDos and confirmation or counterproposals to my requests.

Since I currently play 6 games at the same time I have to focus on those which are due sooner than others. This might cause me to do the second round of my work only after all other players have submitted their final turn already.

I hope I have responded to your question to your utter satisfaction. If there is still any open issue on your end or if I have not been able to put it into words you are capable to understand please let me know and I will try to comply with your needs.

please, nobody should feel forced to justify why they are submitting temporary turns. This is the reason why I originally didn't want to show the "temporary" status at all on the game status.

Planets has different priority in people's lives. Sometimes priorities change even during a turn. But that's personal matters that need not be questioned here. All I ask is if priorities change too much, that you raise a flag to avoid having to abandon the game. But I don't think that's an issue here.
