Hello everyone! I am a new player here at Planetscentral. I used to play on rcworld and today on High Command. Since High Command is retiring, I'm looking for a new home. But I have a question: I've never played PHOST / PLIST games before. Is it possible to use VPA for this? Do I need additional files - or do I get them from the host at Turn 1? Best regards

Thomas

Yes, it is perfectly fine to play with VPA. I use VPA. Some time ago I prepared ready-to-run VPA package (including dosbox): http://www.project-ai.org/upload/vpa.zip

You should get the latest version here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vpa/files/latest/download?source=files and update my package if you are going to use it.

Altough, VPA has numerous bugs, especially when run in dosbox, they are not critical.

All required files for a single game you can get on the game's page.

By the way, the configuration of the Titan series makes these PHOST games very similar to THOST games.
