Forum for Titan 7 (#36)
Hello everybody!
Guys, how do you feel about the idea to include in the game "Titan7" addon "Four Experience Levels "?
Want to hear your opinion.
I think it would be interesting.
I would actually prefer a more vanilla experience, as I am just getting re-acquainted with VGAP. However, I certainly wouldn't drop out if the majority (6 players) wants that addon.
OTOH ... it doesn't seems like you are playing in Titan7?
Hi, I actually prefer a vanilla game. However, if majority wants it i will still play. Cheers, Mondoshiva
Titan was intended as "as vanilla as it can be". As such, it disables extended missions and uses a standard ship list. This means, you cannot do training or crew exchange (which are extended missions), and the only benefit you'll get is in combat (no fancy new ship functions). In addition, experience with a standard ship list / configuration is not as well tested as with PList. Thus, I wouldn't recommend this, but on the other hand I won't stop you from being adventurous and trying fun new things.
That aside, configuration add-ons can only be activated before the game is mastered, so place your votes before the Evil Empire joins

Yes. I plan to join for Evil Empire. But I'm just not very interested in playing the original Tim-like game. There is a planets.nu website for this. I would like to get a new experience from the game.
I think the same as Mondoshiva

Can anyone tell me what "4 experience levels are" as an addon?

PlanetsCentral builds games from a standard configuration and a set of building blocks ("add-ons"). The "Four experience levels" building block is just a single configuration setting. Other building blocks can bring actual "add-ons" with them, currently those are PTScore and ExploreMap.
