I always get a red flag when uploading my turn. I downloaded and unpacked the turn three times now and every attempt a lot of ressources disappear. I must try a fourth attempt now and I am really tired, from making a 450 commands turn again and again.

Please halt the game until tomorrow evening. I must search for the mistake and mabe setup everything anew.

I have stopped the host. If you need help debugging the turn file, send email. (The server does not keep rejected turns.)

ok, now we're still needing a Rebel turn.

(I have dropped the Colony for not submitting 8 turns in a row.)

I have restored the original schedule.

Because the delay was >6 hours, the scheduler puts the next "forced" host run on next Sunday. However, if you're done by next Thursday, host will run then as well.

Sorry, that was too tight :sad:

(I don't want to sound too wisenheimer, but can you try to do your turns earlier? I try to plan mine on the day I get the result, not on the day the turn is due.)

Don't understand this,... but nevertheless....

it seems that nothing will change the game situation atm. With me fighting 1st, 2nd and forth nearly alone there is no challenge and no strategic aim in sight.

The previous turn gave much advantage more to my oponents and I see no sense to seek 2nd place for an unsure hand full of turns.

Therefore I'd like to request you guys for an ending-vote. If the first 4 players agree, we could end it here and declare Sergej as winner. Making another 4-500 operations per turn about 2 or 3 more weeks is no fun.

Your problem obviously is linked to fighters - especially free fighters at bases maybe or maybe not including some script to undo turnstuff at a place. So since you said there is nothing to worry about concerning spoilers...

If you are using PCC2 then it's defenitely important for streu.

JFTR: "free fighters" alone is too simple as an explanation. Free fighters are no different from a client's point-of-view than fighters you bought last turn or fighters which someone dumped on your planet. The client never sees a turn with "before" and "after free fighters".

There must be something in addition.

I hope I'm not telling an embarassing secret by saying that Allan seems to use VPA. VPA doesn't have a reputation of breaking turns. (But if you have a hint what the problem is, I might try to fix it.)

Guilty in the meaning of accuse...

Indeed it is VPA (latest revision). And I suspect either the vpaX.db or one of the .dat files. The mistake used to occur while unpacking the RST. And the ammounts differ the more often you re-copy the RST and unpack it. They only disappear, if you create a new folder and start the game anew with the actual turn. But the history is gone in such cases. If you copy the VPA7.db in the new game-folder the mistake reappears.

Haven't had that problem for years. And this year, twice...

What abaout our game's end?

If we waited for all votes, the machine would probably have ended the game anyway :smile:

I set it to end on turn 82 (=after this turn).
