sorry, right now I've got no time for serious troubelshooting. :-(
However, do you know where I can download VPA for comparison?
Just google and http://vpa.sourceforge.net/
VPA requires PVCR http://phost.de/distro/pvcr40k2.zip. If you got that, you can also invoke it standalone.
Both VPA and PVCR are DOS programs with the usual 64-bit disclaimer.
