I did visit the Forum discussion, but before Stefan announced that the game was going to end. I could live with the fact that the majority of the players votes to end the game, but at least I'd have appreciate my chance to polish my score as everybody else did.

It's always hard to decide for me what to do. Wait longer although the decision is clear or act faster to not drag it on endlessly? Write personal mails and annoy those who already know it, or just keep it in the forum and miss somebody?

It's right that some sort of announcement within the turn mails would be a good idea that probably annoys nobody. It just needs to be coded :)
