Streu, how about disabling players with 0 total from the game without skipping moves? I don't want to ruin my reputation.

The reliability penalty for dropping is actually pro-rated against your score (relative to best player same turn). So, if you resign from a game where you have very low or zero score, your penalty will be low or zero.

The host does not kick you out when your empire is dead because that would prevent you from watching your final VCRs and messages.
