Hi everyone,
I have uploaded a new PCC2 release. It improves information display and predictions. Most important ones are:
- taxation: what-if (W) shows effects on growth and happiness if you had terraformers/hissers.
- taxation: growth prediction for Tim-Host
- hull functions: show whether a cloaking device is currently broken due to damage
- movement: Tim-Host pythagoras bug
(sorry, the suggestions discussed over there are not yet in.)
The F6 (ship history) now has a "ship exactly at" filter, useful for planets. Previously we only had a "ships near" filter. Finally, the interpreter learned a few new functions and some PCC1 compatibility fixes.
Get it as usual from http://phost.de/~stefan/pcc2.html.
In other news, the website got updated. Updates mostly happened behind the scenes. The security update started here now completed, PlanetsCentral now uses SSL everywhere even if you do not type in the "https" URL. Internal password encryption and cookie handling is now more secure.
That aside, the website mostly kept me busy during late summer fighting robot spam, which you'll hopefully not notice. Trying to see the good news: someone is considering this website important enough to target a robot at it
