This is not the first time I would have done an emergency turn. And usually 3 days is enough to do one. Not this time though. ...

Maybe I'm overthinking this. I wrote my snarky remark because these requests always get me in a dilemma of "am I being fair?" because I don't give in for everyone - often just because I don't have an admin console handy in the given time.
