Well, quick summary:
- Races who would like to end the game or wouldn't mind ending it: Lizards, Klingons, Empire, Robots, Rebels
- Races who have opposed: none (yet)
- Races who haven't answered yet: Feds, Birds, Cyborgs, Crystals, Colonies
- Races who have left the game: Privateers

When I look at the score graph, I see Fed and Lizard competing for first place, Tholian and Rebel for third place (or even second?), Colonial and Samurai for fifth. Looks still exciting to me :-)
If you want to end the game earlier, I would propose something like an "around turn 75" rule, i.e. roll a 25% die (default: 10%) from turn 75 on or something like that.
