I've collected a lot of mails from past games, now I would like to mark them (at least) as read. Check one to one individually looks terrible, why there is no "select all" option?

If you do not select any message, the action button on the top-right of the mailbox view will operate on all messages on the current screen, and is consequently labeled "All".

If you want to operate on a selection of messages, also check the keyboard shortcuts. Use keys "j" and "k" to put focus on a message, "x" to select it. "X" (shift-x) selects/unselects everything.

These features require JavaScript, I hope that isn't an issue anywhere anymore. I try to keep the site usable without JavaScript, but many details will be missing. After all, our flagship feature is the JavaScript application PCC2 Web resp. the simulator.

Yes, it should work as you described but does not, unfortunately.

What exactly do you do, and with what browser?

I tried Mark Read/Mark Unread with Firefox (Linux) and Chrome (Android), successfully: go to inbox, click All>Mark Read resp. All>Mark Unread. Status updates immediately, and when leaving and re-entering inbox, persists.

Aaah, I see what's a reason of misunderstanding! The pictogram of read message looks like sealed envelope (almost the same as unread one) but I expected the envelope will be open and have a check sign on the foreground (as shown in menu).

Ok, maybe I'm the first who discovered this fact after the years and there is no need to fix anything but I would correct the picture of read mail.

Read and unread messages differ only with a purple outline, it's not easy to discover.

Ah, I see.

You're not the first to notice, but so far I didn't have an idea how to improve that. Also, whether the glow is prominently visible probably depends on your display type and settings.

On the other hand, the idea with an open envelope makes a lot of sense and I wonder why I didn't think of that. Let's see. (I would opt against the checkmark, because that clashes with the "replied" arrow.)

This is a testing version.
It may be incomplete, and have more bugs (or features) than the public live version at planetscentral.com.
