Hi Planets freaks,
After searching for ages for my old registered Winplan CD i failed to install it.

My setup:
Host Laptop runs Win10.
I installed Oracle Virtual Box with a slim Win XP installation.

When i try to run SETUP.EXE in my VM i get an error saying (in german)
"Datei <path to SETUP.EXE> (oder Komponente) nicht gefunden. Ueberpruefen Sie, ob der Pfad- und der Datainame korrekt sind und ob alle erforderlichen Bibliotheksdateien zur Verfuegung stehen."

In english similar to: Check if all required Libraries are installed.

I remember that once upon a time i did have to copy some DLLs into /windows/system32 (or system ?).

Anyone remembers the old days on how to install Winplan 3.52 from original CD on XP?

I really like Winplan and tried to work with PCC2 but i am too old to switch to a new client.
Which does not mean that i have no respect for Stefan, he did and still does an excellent job to keep this world-best game alive.
Thanks Stefan!!!

I use Winplan 3.5.114 on Windows 10 combined with Echoview and it works perfectly for me. No need for a virtual PC or WinXP. Dont give up.

Try installing Winplan on Windows 10 directly onto C:\ instead of C:\program files [or similar]. That should work out. If not, write again. I also have files which I could offer.

Are you running a 64bit or 32bit OS?

I have a 64bit version

This is a testing version.
It may be incomplete, and have more bugs (or features) than the public live version at planetscentral.com.
