I got some requests to end the game. As a heads-up: I do not normally close games manually. The server will close the games automatically, after rolling a die that I cannot directly influence. The game being at turn 81 is not an oversight.

If you explicitly want me to deviate from that rule and end the game for good, please explicitly say so. In any case, changes to the game should be discussed in the open, not in private channels behind the curtain, so nobody can call backstair politics.

I particularly don't mind. I'm ok playing til the end (whenever it happens) or stopping now if most people are bored or feel that not much more is gonna happen. The first and second places are clear, I'd say (congrats to Borg and Privs, by the way, well played!). There might be some space for changes between third and fifth places, I don't know.

If anybody has a strong opinion either way, I won't argue. It's been a challenging game, I had lots of fun and a couple of turns more or less won't change that.

Hi, I admit that I asked Stefan to close the game. Didn’t know that the real end is decided by CPU, sorry for my ‘blondness’

Yes, top 3 are set. Although if the game continues I fear to lose some planets to Colos. Man, you are just to good with Crystal covering your attack. The Crystal are the most underestimated race in the game but can make the difference between winning or loosing. Great alliance!!!

Also want to take the opportunity to say sorry that Lizzy handed over most if their ships. Did sent a message to them NOT to do so as I see it as unfair.

Nevertheless, nice game and if the original Lizzard player would been less aggressive the end might have looked different.

For me the winners are Colo and Crystal.

Great game after all. And yes, having the Crystals watching my back was my only hope against the Lizards (thanks James). We all know how frustrating can be to spend all your resources and energies trying to get out of the bloody webs...

Thanks also for mentioning that the second Lizard player handed over most of his ships. I also felt that was a bit unfair and somehow an "ugly" gesture. He didn't even try to fight.

Anyways, thanks everyone for a very intense and interesting game (at least it was for me).

Hello,

Not knowing when the game ends gives you excitement and avoids anticlimactic endings. So for me we continue with the dice. Thanks to everyone for the game, to the allies for their help and to the enemies for their challenge.
