Currently we have whole Sunday and three evenings for first turn (Mo, Tu, We), versus one Thursday evening and weekend evening + day (Fr, Sa) for second turn in a week.

I have no objection to that.

I would even like to see at least some games with an accelerated schedule, like 3 days per week. There's never enough VGAP

On some other hosts the first 20 turns of the game would run 3/week and then drop to 2/week once the game got more complex.

I believe it is the only real VGAP host left (not counting .nu) I was thinking of previous placed I'd placed like CircusMaximus and RoboMaster.

I wouldn't mind a little competition, so if you know any others, feel free to post. I think there are a few people in Russia / Ukraine hosting?

That aside, you can always make the game faster if you wish, host runs when turns are in. Personally, I do my turns on the evening I have them in the mail. Others seem to do their turns on the latest possible day, which negates the "host run when turns are in" acceleration and gets you in trouble when you have an unexpected business trip or so. Maybe changing that habit could also help

I also do my turns right away (unless there's some extreme circumstance). But it's the other 10 players you can't control, and it only takes 1 player to prevent host running early.

No autohosting. Just games by order, and seems it in the past already.

This is not about making game faster, but for giving players time to make their turns. I tried to say, that there's more than enough time to make first turn in a week, but lack of time to make second. Friday evening and Saturday not always suitable for gaming. And THursday evening not always enough.
