Bugs and Feature Requests for PlanetsCentral and other VGAP software
I'm testing a game on TimHost v3.22.047 using PCC2 2.0.12 for Windows and running into a small issue where the HCONFIG settings are being sent to me every single turn. I have double-checked that the FC "con" is not set on any of my planets.
Each and every turn, the 10 config setting screens appear in my messages, the first indicating "<< NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE >>".
I tested switching to the original DOS Shareware client for a turn, and the messages do NOT appear for the next turn. As soon as I submit a turn via PCC2 again, the 10 HCONFIG messages come back once again.
Is there another setting (other than the planetary friendly code "con") that I'm overlooking which requests these messages? Not a big deal to skip through 10 messages, but curious about it nonetheless.
Thanks!

PCC2 sends Winplan-style turn files.
HOST always sends HCONFIG messages to Winplan users, probably because it assumes they don't have difficulties handling those messages (Winplan sorts messages by category).
You can filter these messages in PCC: press Tab to open the subject overview, then K to filter a category. When browsing normally, those messages will now be skipped.
