CSY in Re: Thost hosts?:
- hmmm, they have too little fuel to reach their 20 ly waypoint.
- hmmm, their fuel will suffice for 50% of that distance.
- so, how much is that distance? 50% x 81 ly = 40 ly, so we allow them to move 40 ly.
Wait... is this still true even in Host 3.22.047? (Something tells me that answer is yes, given what I just did in a local test.)
I was looking around verifying another difference between this host and NuHost (namely, the Land and Disassemble mission with 0 fuel), and I stumble upon this.
I did the most of my analysis with Host 3.22.046 and, as far as I can tell, that only differs marginally from .047. However, it seems I didn't keep the host test program used for the fuel analysis; the program for movement limits is linked on that page.
That program works by setting up several universes until it has seen all situations once. If you know about a way to do something similar for NuHost, I'm interested.
