I have an activation code for winplan (thanks to Tim for sending it back to me). The problem is that winplan doesn't work on W10 and therefore I can't enter it at the first start of winplan to get the regkey. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert the code or run winplan on W10? I would like to use PCC2 or VPA and I guess I can't use the activation code or am I wrong? Thank you
As far as I know, VPA can play with an un-"activated" key. I guess I should add ability that to PCC as well someday.
If you only have the compressed key ("reg.ke_"), Windows comes with an "expand" command to unpack it.

I recovered an old windows XP PC and I managed to run winplan. However, I think I understood that: 1) winplan is supplied with a "reg.key" which contains the serial number and is already valid 2) activating winplan involves rewriting the "reg.key", I assume by entering the data of the client who activates it . 3) to use PCC as registered you need to take the "reg.key" and rename it to "fizz.bin". Unfortunately PCC does not report the name of the person but some strange characters, but it happened in the past also with VPA.
I tried to use the new key with planetscentral but it told me I was cheating, you need to declare the key you want to use. However, the key service provided by Planetscentral is very useful.
