Especially if it could cause a pause around May 30-Jun 8 since I'm away then... BTW: I'm new here, how does one normally request game pauses?

I prefer if you post it in the forums so everyone knows what happens and host doesn't appear to stop because I feel like it. Give it a bit lead time so everyone can read it and add their needs ("add one more day to the pause for me"). I actually cannot imagine a sane reason for a player to decline another player's wish for a pause.

I usually read all forums, but if I miss something, feel free to poke me.
