Remote ship control is a PHost feature which allows players to give commands to allied ships without having to relinquish ownership. This can be useful in many situations. For example, in team games, it can be quite difficult to coordinate a fleet of ships owned by different players. Using remote control, one player can assume control over the others' ships and give orders to them.
