I am dying to join a game (North Star type preferably, or Pleiades as my second choice) but I don't have much time at the moment.

Colonial is not playing as well and you can easly put Rebel and Empire into the same category plus Borg and Romulan don't differ too much (maybe they are just learning, no idea). So there are 6 races you can just prey on. I guess that's the current state of this server - not enough experienced players who know how to play (every game I've played so far at this server had similar pattern).
