When enabled, players can use the Universal Minefield Friendly Code to grant their allies immunity to their mines. Since this can also be achieved by a minefield-level alliance in a less fragile way, the Universal Minefield Friendly Code can be turned off now.
When this option is off, friendly codes starting with mf are no longer special. Attempting to use Super Spy to set a planet's friendly code to mfX will no longer automatically trigger the Ionic Pulse.
