Hi everyone,

there is a new PHost version (4.1g) and I'm going to use it on this server. I just wonder how to do that in the cleverest way.

So far, all games are configured to use "always current version", that is, when I add the new version, they would immediately use the new version. However, I already got some feedback from players who do not like that. But, of course, people who like it rarely complain.

So, here's the options:

1. just add the new version and implicitly upgrade all games to it ("do nothing")
2. keep all running games at 4.1e and upgrade only joining / future games
3. keep all running and joining games at 4.1e, and upgrade only future games

I'm currently floating between (a) and (b).

Do you have any opinion? If not, feel free to make one up under the christmas tree, and tell me.

I have now installed PHost 4.1g, the next turns will run with that version. I'll observe the games, but if you see any trouble, please tell me.
